Marcia Yvette Myers, DNP, CNS, CWCN

Yvette is a doctoral prepared nursing professional with over 35 years of experience in nursing. She's originally from Georgia, where she received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Georgia Southern University. She earned her doctorate from Chatham University and graduated from Emory’s Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing Education Program. Over the years, she has worked in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, and California as a WOC nurse in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings, specializing in wound and ostomy care, with a focus on preventive skin care measures, incontinence associated dermatitis (IAD), and diabetes education. She has worked as an adjunct lecturer and clinical instructor for BSN nursing students. Her love of travel has taken her to a variety of culturally diverse settings including working as part of the flagship wound care team in Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Director of Wound Care she was afforded the opportunity to work in leadership and advocate for the professional development of her wound care team. She has authored and contributed to publications, podium, and poster presentations and has a broad knowledge base in the field of nursing. She is enthusiastic about sharing wound and Ostomy knowledge with other healthcare professionals and home caregivers and would love the opportunity to contribute to your organization's wound care knowledge.
Outside of inForm Care she enjoys cooking for her family and friends, going to sporting events and concerts, and caring for her German Shepherds, Remy and Opti.
